Biography
Angela gained a First Class Honours Degree in Visual Art
Practices from Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art and Design, Dublin, Ireland,in 2007.
She was subsequently invited by Signal Arts Centre in
Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland, to show her graduate work in her first solo show.
She has received a number of awards from Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown
County Council and Create Ireland. In 2011, she was a winner in the
international competition organised by Europol, the European Law Enforcement
Agency, and her work is exhibited in their HQ in the The Hague. in The Netherlands. Her work has
been purchased by Office of Public Works in Ireland and she has been successful in a number of open competitions in Ireland, Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom..
In 2016, she completed a Masters in, Art, Research and
Collaboration at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art,Ireland. She collaborated with IKEA and
exhibited part of her final degree work in their Dublin HQ as well as
participating in their annual forum. The final exhibition from her MA was long
listed for the Royal Dublin Society Awards curated by Ruth Carroll, director of the Royal Hibernian Academy, Ireland, in 2016.
