Jhon Andersen is the pseudonym by Felipe Sánchez and Carlos Daniel Jiménez, two
multidisciplinary artists from Mexico City and Atizapán de Zaragoza, State of Mexico,
respectively.
The two artists met at the Bicultural Center of Cinematography and Acting. They
collaborated in a significant amount of projects, being the most notorious Apatía
(documentary short film in 2012). Candido y Doña Blanca (comedy short film 2013).
El Juicio (thriller short film 2013) and El Cuarto de Erika (horror short film in 2015,
wich earned Felipe Sánchez his degree as screenwriter and movie director.
Towards the end of 2015, they laid the foundation for the videogame development
and new technologies collective CRECELIUS. Simultaneously, they started the Jhon
Anderson Project, wich was driven by their affinity towards other arts, different from
cinematography, and made them explore poetry, short tales, painting, sculping,
performance, video installments, photography and teather. Searching for the
manipulation of images and any given material that allow them to bring a new, fresh
and contemporary visio to any form of art.
