Tuca Ahlin is a multidisciplinary Brazilian artist , that permeates between the visual, plastic and applied arts. As a descendant of Jewish war refugees she envisions the world as historical stage.
She creates her art by tapping into countries cultures , she has visited and internal as well as wordly inquietude combined with corporal movement and geographical/special sensitivity.
As a child she started dancing classic ballet as a means to treat a medical condition and, as she involved, it was through the ballet that she learned about movement and how to express her anxieties. To find her own ways she lived in London and by giving herself entirely to the process of self-experimentation she danced at The Royal Academy of Dance.
She has been a Ballet teacher, award winning jewelry designer, theater as well TV actress, ceramist and painter.
Today she dedicates most of her time to her atelier, which is the stage where an ebullience of creativity reflects her multidisciplinary, soulful creations. Through experimentations and a constant search for new techniques she can transport her thoughts, feelings and abstractions onto living canvases.
