My name is Joseph Abi Yaghi, I am from Lebanon and live in Poland for 11 years now with my Polish wife Adriana and two daughters Iga, 11 years old and Kaya Maria, 10 years old.

I am a self taught ceramist. Actually a woman friend taught me on the wheel for 5 weeks. Few months later I participated in a competition in (Sursock Museum) in Lebanon and got a special mention (1995). The second year I got another special mention (1996). The third and last year I won the first Prize (1997). It was the first time in the Museum history that a potter wins the first prize, the competition is among painters, sculptors, mass media and potters all together. My last exhibition was in 2009 in Lebanon and since I stopped doing pottery until few months ago when i got back to this beautiful passion. Beauty comes out only when it is done with love. I love what I do.
