Abate

I am Marion Abate, an artist from the Bavarian Forest working in Regensburg. Since my studies, my focus has been on sculpture, exploring both figurative and abstract representations of reality. Since 2023, 3D printing has been at the heart of my artistic practice. By combining ceramic and polymer-based 3D printing, I build a bridge between tradition and innovation.

Alongside my freelance artistic work, I am pursuing a PhD on the topic of ceramic 3D printing. I also work as a secondary school teacher for art at the Albrecht-Altdorfer-Gymnasium in Regensburg and as a lecturer at the Institute for Fine Arts and Aesthetic Education at the University of Regensburg.
