My name
is Larisa. I am 55 years old. I am married and have two children. I have a profession -
graphic designer.
⠀I represent a region of endless
taiga, harsh winters and strong but kind people. As you may have guessed, my
home is Siberia. Namely, the capital of Siberia is Novosibirsk. Here I live, my
family and here I create.
⠀What does it mean for me to be an
artist? This is an opportunity to tell about the world around me, to show my
vision of what is happening around and transform, pour it into creativity.
⠀My native land, its cold winters,
pristine nature and warm-hearted inhabitants - all this left an imprint on my
works. You will not find anywhere else such special winter landscapes as in
Siberia. At the same time, my works are saturated with home comfort, warm
memories of the moments spent with loved ones and of a happy, carefree
childhood. I try to create paintings that can touch the hearts and feelings of
people.
I can't say which I like more:
landscape or still life; seascape or genre. But I can say that these are my
favorite genres. In my collection there are paintings made with oil and tempera
paints, gouache, watercolors, pastel pencils and ink. I write in different
directions - impressionism, realism, cubism. The surface for expressing my
creative thought is not always canvas, sometimes it is wood or glass. I love to
create new stories, bringing everything together, creating images that
themselves can tell the viewer a story.
Most often I write for inspiration,
sometimes I write to order. Art collectors and amateurs alike acquire my works.
I participate in thematic
exhibitions. For example, in 2019, as part of the festival, my personal
exhibition was held in the city of Dolgoprudny (Russia). A year earlier, my
work was awarded at the international festival Ethno Art Fest-2018.
Participation in your project will give me the opportunity to expand the boundaries
of my creativity. I want to surprise and introduce the public to the modern
understanding of art, to declare myself and my creative self!
